Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the FlickClean iOS application ("App," "FlickClean"), developed and operated by Denis Pavelyev ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

FlickClean helps you review and organize your iPhone photo library using a swipe-based interface. It offers modes for month-by-month review, random shuffle, screenshots, videos, blurry photo detection, and similar/duplicate photo grouping. All photo analysis is performed on-device.

3. Photo Deletion

When you swipe left and confirm deletion, FlickClean removes the selected photos and videos from your Photos library using Apple's standard deletion mechanism. Deleted items are typically moved to your device's Recently Deleted album, where they remain recoverable for a limited time (as determined by iOS) before being permanently erased. FlickClean is not responsible for photos or videos that are permanently deleted after this retention period, or for any loss of content resulting from your use of the App.

4. Free Tier & Subscriptions

FlickClean offers a free tier with daily usage limits on most cleanup modes, and optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("Weekly," "Monthly," and "Yearly") that remove those limits. Current subscription pricing is displayed in the App and on this website at the time of purchase and may include a free trial period (currently 3 days).

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirming purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your device.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
  • All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and App Store refund policies; we do not process payments or issue refunds directly.

5. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use FlickClean on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the App Store's Usage Rules.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by law; use the App for any unlawful purpose; interfere with the App's operation or security; or misrepresent your identity when contacting us.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, graphics, logos, and underlying code, is owned by Denis Pavelyev and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that blur/duplicate detection will identify every relevant photo.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of photos, videos, data, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete it from your device at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in your jurisdiction of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
